Sapphires

The sapphire is one of varieties of corundum., Although blue is their most well-known color, sapphires may also be colorless, and are found in many colors.
Pink sapphire, the deeper the pink color the higher their monetary value.
Padparadscha sapphires often draw higher prices than many of even the finest blue sapphires. Padparadscha is a pink-orange corundum.
A star sapphire is a type of sapphire that exhibits a star-like phenomenon known as asterism; red stones are known as “star rubies”.
